This was so lovely to read, my gosh! Loved it so so much.

I kept laughing, the lady with the privacy screen that kept looking into your phone was just hilarious.😂

Honestly, my most annoying experiences in transit are one the people that seem oblivious to the fact that deodorants exists and then decide to leave their armpit smelling, secondly the people that keep talking throughout the whole ride but decides to pour spit on the people beside them.😭 or the guy that wants to shoot his shot even after you have said I am not single.

Transit times are really interesting, it can be good, bad or worst depends on how intentional you are about making your time worth it.

Me and my headphones are best friends during periods like that, that way I can enjoy the ride.

Awww, mom and dad’s story is so beautiful.

I can relate to every of the stories in transit 😂😂😂 but I once met a kind guy that offered to carry some of my luggage’s on his laps. That act of kindness made me so emotional.

We exchanged contacts but nahhh😂😂😂, it didn’t work.

Another transit story I have that I would say was God-orchestrated was a day I was really feeling lonely about traveling home alone.

That morning I met a stranger at the front of my school in Benin who was going to Ekiti - the same place, same street. We had a really good time gisting and bonding. I knew that was God.

And yes, I’ll try out those tips ☺️☺️

Ah finding love in transit is so fairytale🥰 Love it for your parents! I agree with Itunu on ‘that’s why you like love’ lol. I relate with every experience you’ve had. I miss talking about Jesus on the bus as I don’t go out often in public transport. It’s always challenging but I’m always glad afterwards. I’ve had few conversations with strangers because of this too. My favorite things to do is: write and read. I get inspired a couple of times to write something. Sometimes I watch a movie or just meditate.

Sis, I know right :)

The number of times I've ‘dodged’ preaching in a bus lol until one day when I finally summoned the courage to! It was only once sha haha.

Thank you for this heartwarming feedback 💛

This is such a fun read. It reminded me of my transits back in Jamaica. Not only would being inside the vehicle be an experience but what happens outside- the people you pass on the streets- Always a fun (and sometimes scary/weird) time.

Girl, I knowwww. Those outside too are a whole narrative!!!🤣 Thank God for transit times. And THANK YOU for reading:)

Transit time reminded me of times I have met beautiful souls that made me feel like ‘Omorr, God dey create o’, derange ones that make me question human nature like ‘omo, people dey this world o', and ones that we later became friends because we were fortunately heading in the same direction and we were predestined to meet in transit time.

What a nice write-up.🤍

I think my favorite moments as a kid were transit encounters. Childhood was tough, haha😅. From juggling between destinations, hopping on large lorry-looking buses designed to carry tons over tons of passengers (molue), to having to stand all through the journey cos I was a big sister and my mom would rather put my little brother on her lap, to getting tired even before reaching our destination...

On several occassions, however, some passengers would fall in love with me and let me sit on their laps. That thing you said about kindness is real. You really don't know how much burden you take off a person just by being kind.

Welldone, oremi! ❤️

I loooooovveee transit time. It's my thinking time. Amidst the chaos, my mind finds silence and I love it. Especially when I'm by a window seat, taking in the view for upmteenth time.

I find that in transit time I'm reminded that the different people I see are still God's children. I wonder what their lives would be like if they knew His plans for them.

I sha wonder alot when I'm in transit.

I can totally relate to all you said! My mind finding silence especially when sitting by the window? Absolutely. Lol. It's so real! And that breeze that washes over me? Premium.
