Beautifully written, madam dimples :) The goal is to stay thankful. Always. It's so easy to use the timing of others to gauge ourselves. I feel you! (your 2024 comment about love finding you since everybody seemed to be getting married this year or entering relationship) but then I remember God doesn't live by 'crowd' but by what He believes His best and when the timing is right. When Pharaoh was releasing prisoners aka the Baker and the Butler, you'd have assumed it was Joseph's time too. (Genesis 40). Joseph even implored the Butler to to remember him. It wasn't until 2 years later Pharaoh's dream propelled him to the spotlight and the timing was just RIGHT. Perfect Even. We may think somethings should happen at a certain timing, but when it's God's timing, it just fits.

Glad you're choosing to focus on the positives because it's so easy to get drowned by everything that didn't go right. But what about the sense/wisdom gained on what to do and not to do/allow next time? What about the chance to do something right and be purposeful? What about the opportunity to see a new day alive and well. For this we stay thankful. Xx!

Gbam!!! A whole sermon you dropped, sis. I've read this about three times, each time, slowly. You pointing out Joseph’s story makes so much sense. I'd never seen it that way. Wow.

“The goal is to stay thankful.” Absolutely. Now that I think about it, I need to revisit the gratitude checklist you gifted us in January. Thank you for always, sis. I appreciate your being in my corner. 🥹💛

I kept holding on to and feeling "not alone" with the beginning until you said to release it.😅

Anyways, I'm glad to be reminded that "God's not done with me yet" even though I indeed get overwhelmed by the highlight reels of others at times.

Thanks so much for sharing, ma'am.

I Stan in humble anticipation of our Christmas gift.🌚🥰
